Rerun Report Sections
If a report section needs changes that are more significant than a simple correction, you can rerun the relevant section using AI by explaining what is wrong with the Rerun Section feature. After you have a satisfactory version, you can ensure the AI will follow these new instructions for future reports with the Rewrite Prompt feature.
Step-by-step
- Open your report from the list of reports at https://app.polygraphreports.com/reports. In the app, go to ReportWiz and open the report you want to update from your reports list.
- Start a rerun. Click Rerun to begin the rerun workflow for that section.
- Describe the problem. Click the Problem Description field (required) and enter what should be fixed or what you need changed for this rerun. Treat this like explaining the issue to a new employee.
- Begin processing. Click Rerun Section to start the AI on fixing the section..
- Approve. Click Approve when you are happy with the new version of the section. Multiple reruns or even manual edits can be made to get the section just right.
- Optional: Rewrite Prompt. Click Rewrite Prompt to have the AI update the instructions it uses for this section so that future reports will be written the same way.
Tips
- Be specific in Problem Description so the rerun targets the right issue (e.g. missing detail, wrong section focus, transcript alignment). More detail is always better, but not required.
- After a rerun completes, review the updated section the same way you would any other section of your report before finalizing.
- Use Rewrite Prompt so that you don't have to redo this type of work for the same section in future reports.
